Behold: The Official Anthem of The Convivial Woman

It’s a great day when you hear a song that touches you, speaks to your heart, expresses how you feel or want to feel.

I’m writing at 6:45am, because 1) I haven’t been able to sleep all night, and 2) I’ve finally stolen time away for myself to share this news:

I’m officially adopting a song for The Convivial Woman!

First, let me tell you which songs it will NOT be:

Independent Woman / Survivor / Bootylicious (Destiny’s Child)
I’m Too Sexy (Right Said Fred)
She Works Hard For The Money (Donna Summer)
Bitch (Meredith Brooks)
Brickhouse (The Commodores)
or any of the following songs on this list of girl power type songs.

Choosing a convivial tune was not something I had ever planned to do. I didn’t think this up on my own, oh no. It was purely organic, as in, it happened like this:

I’m driving in my car, listening to the radio and decide it’s time to hit SCAN since I’ve had enough of the DJ’s chatter and annoying laughter. As the stations switch, I catch a snippet of a familiar sound with these lyrics…

I’ve found the masterpiece in you…
a work of art…
it’s true…
and I treasure you…

An instant visual comes to mind of The Convivial Woman’s mantra, the one phrase which serves as a guide for my intentions here and in my life:

You are a Masterpiece. Live accordingly.

I’m taken back to the day I first revealed this carefully constructed sentence to a crowd of women at the first SacredSexyBiz Networking event hosted by my friend, Lisa Carmen.

As I stood up to introduce myself to this new group, I was in process of relaunching this site as The Convivial Woman and decided to share the new tagline, You are a Masterpiece. Live accordingly. The moment those words hit the air, everyone’s eyes lit up. Lisa caressed her arm to control the goose bumps.

There was no denying that set of words struck a cord with each woman and reminded her of who she was, how she was meant to live, her ultimate potential.

It’s what I believe and the belief I wish to share with as many people as possible. It turns out Atlantic Starr was on the same wavelength as me and created that notion in song form. If the aforementioned lyrics didn’t give it away for you,

I’ve chosen the song Masterpiece by Atlantic Starr to be the official anthem for The Convivial Woman.

I realize this song mostly caters to lovers, but I make up my own rules here, so in our case, the song speaks of a very personal and intimate relationship that a woman has with herself. So there you have it…

If you didn’t think this song could sound any more beautiful, click the video below to listen. And remember…

This fairytale we’re sharing is real inside our hearts…Let it be forever, never let it end.
